Important information about the mesh function
- Ideally, all access points are wired via Ethernet; in case of a failure, WLAN Mesh acts as a backup.
- With pure Wi-Fi mesh, the performance of the access points that forward the data can drop by up to 50%.
- The mesh function must be enabled in the Unifi Network App, the controller, for each access point.
